Flat roofs are now a hugely popular solution for roofs due to the lower costs compared to a traditional pitched roof. Historically, flat roofing was only recommended in areas with lower rainfall, but due to enhancements in drainage systems, and the lower cost compared to traditional pitched roofs, their usage is becoming increasingly popular. We offer our flat roof installation in 3 different colours to compliment your home, garage, or any commercial building that needs a cost effective, durable solution.
The first step towards a new flat roof installation is when you call us for a free, no obligation roof inspection. We will conduct a thorough survey and suggest the best possible materials to protect your home. We will advise on the preparation techniques that need to be carried out and the access equipment that will need to be used. We will also advise on any supplementary products like gutters and downpipes that would also be installed. Along with our quotation we will give you a timeframe of completion, not just for the roof installation but also taking into account the clean up afterwards to leave your home in a more beautiful state that it was before.
The final decision to proceed with your new flat roof installation rests entirely with you. Our knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your questions or address any concerns you may have.

Rubber such as EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) is renowned for its strength and durability, it is also known to be excellent for thermal insulation and water resistance. This is also a stable compound with no accompanying odour or fumes that normally characterise rubbers.
EPDM is a rubber material consisting of the main compounds ethylene and propylene. A flexible rubber matrix is formed when a small amount of diene is added to the mix. EPDM is available as a reinforced mix or an un-reinforced mix, both of which are commonly used and available in either a cured or uncured state. Whichever state this rubber is used in or whatever type of application it is used for, many industries benefit from EPDM sheet rubber.
Felt flat roofing is the traditional material used for flat roofs. Although felt does not come with such a long warranty it does still last for many years and is an affordable option compared to other materials.
Felt roofs have an average life of 10-15 years and at StoneCraft Roofing, our installers are competent in installing replacement traditional felt roofing. Our felt roofing system comes with a 10 year guarantee and is only installed by our qualified local roofing contractors.
